Sign up below to become a member today! Membership to BRIPAN is no longer by mere application to ensure that all members of BRIPAN have basic knowledge of Insolvency Laws.

BRIPAN creates a platform for insolvency and business recovery enthusiasts to drive reforms, interface with relevant government arms and agencies and impact legislation and its implementation on the law and practice of insolvency.

Program Methodology

The training sessions (especially for fellows) are interactive, advanced and each requires the full attention of the participants. Fellows are additionally required to produced a well researched peer reviewed article bordering on policy and practice of insolvency and business recovery to complete their training.

CAC Accreditation as an Insolvency Practitioner

BRIPAN members are eligible to apply to Corporate Affairs Commission for accreditation and licence to practice business recovery, administration, receivership and insolvency in Nigeria.

Procedure

  • Apply to the CAC in the prescribed form CAC-MISC 02.
  • Pay the accreditation prescribed fee.
  • Present evidence of membership of BRIPAN
  • Present evidence of practice of Insolvency since the last 5 years
  • Present evidence of completion of accredited course of continuing learning administered by BRIPAN or other recognized body.
  • Present evidence of eligibility to practice in the current year (2021).

BRIPAN will in suitable cases, assist its members to apply to CAC for accreditation. To qualify for BRIPAN assistance, members must:

  • Provide evidence of membership of BRIPAN consisting of a copy of the certificate of membership issued to members upon their induction.
  • Provide evidence of participation in BRIPAN training(s) and conferences.
  • Proof of payment of BRIPAN dues for the year 2021.
  • Complete the attached modified Form CAC-MISC 02
  • Payment of the sum of prescribed fees.
